Cleft palate surgery in the 3rd world

SmileTrain has been my favorite “feel good” charity for a while. They do “cleft palate” surgery in the 3rd world, for absolutely free. Watch the documentary “Smile Pinki” and see what difference they make in children’s (and parents’) lives.

So what’s with the photos? Well, they accept any donation, but if you send them enough to sponsor one full surgery, they send you a photo of the actual child that was helped by your donation.
