1. Unpair the app

Go into the app, and remove the device there. The blue light on your instrument will go from steady to blinking.

2. Pair with your Mac

  1. Go to the “Audio Midi” application
  2. Bring up the Midi studio
  3. Click on the Bluetooth icon
  4. Pair with your instrument

3. Pick an instrument

Select any instrument in your DAW. The default setting in Logic is to use “Midi Channel All”, which works. Your re.corder by default sends on channel 1.

4. What’s going on

It’s very useful to have a utility such as MidiView that tells you everything that’s coming into your computer.
