Under reflection is a downtempo track without much of a story behind it. This was partly an attempt to learn the drum module Ultrabeat and the Zebra synth. Also, I wanted to see if I could write a tune that would qualify as a nightclub two-step dance. In that respect it didn’t work out: the beat is not strong enough.

While I'm happy with the synth sounds in this track, I think the overall sound would improve by having a "real" instrument on the melody. So I asked my friend Bernard Guy for some string parts. Here is his version with the melody on Oud (played by me) and some awesome soloing on guitar synth (the sitar sound) and electric guitar by Bernard. He also did the rhythm part.
