Autumn500
Autumn's Allemande is a movement in my Courtly Suite. Autumn is the daughter of a lady-in-waiting. She is too young to be let into the great hall when the grown-ups are dancing, but when she hears the music, she hides behind a curtain and does her steps in silence.

Nothing here is historically informed. For instance, an Allemande is a slow dance. Well, not here. The title was dictated by my fancy of writing something with the girl's name Autumn in the title. Alliteration over historical correctness!

This piece is for C recorder and continuo. Any amount of doubling, adding bass instruments, percussion, whatnot, is allowed. Find the score on the Werner Icking archive.
